The film opens with Ragupathi (Siddarth), an engineering graduate who’s so frustrated with his unemployment problems. But all his consolation comes through his dad who shares good rapport with his son. Amidst of this, he falls in love with Madhumitha (Thamannah) – a girl who’s far-famed for her innocence and good heartedness. But, things are swept off from the dreams of these young sweethearts once Radhakrishnan (Rishi) arrives from USA. He mesmerizes the entire family of Madhumitha and gets her married. With no options left, the girl has to obey her parents and flee to America after the marriage.
Much despaired in his life, Raghupathi’s life take a turn when he gets a job in America. Over there, he meets a stunning girl Rathna (Rukmani). She’s a girl who has been staying in America over for a very long time and yet has been bounded with a life of Eastern Culture. Mutual attractions and admirations for each other urge them to marry at a famous Hindu temple in Pittsburgh.
But that’s not the end and you’ll have to hold yourselves for the unexpected twists and turns in the remaining portion of this film.
The film is completely based on the novel penned by Late Writer Sujatha titled ‘Pirivoam Sandhipom’.
Gandhi Krishna who shot to fame with his debut directorial ‘Chellamae’ handles screenplay and direction while Sujatha’s dialogues would be a highlighting factor in this film.
